Dr Ronald Arthur Louis Bonewitz trained as a geologist specialising in crystal chemistry, with secondary training in archaeology. As a geologist he worked on oil and uranium exploration, the mining of gold and gemstones, and underground nuclear testing. In a parallel career in aviation, he flew as a helicopter test pilot and commuter airline pilot. His interest in psychology developed through his involvement in the Human Potential Movement. Ron returned to university to take a PhD in Behavioural Science, and has given about 300 personal development courses and seminars, and hundreds of lectures in Europe, India, Scandinavia, Australia, New Zealand and the USA. His specific interests are the connection between physical illness and neurosis, and in human instinctual behaviour.

His writings include books on natural philosophy, the mineral kingdom as a mirror of the Inner Light, human life as an integral part of the rhythms and cycles of nature, and a text on social psychology demonstrating that most western social problems stem from a fundamental misunderstanding of man's biological heritage. Other books cover areas such as healing, personal development, and ancient mysteries. All of his writing is ultimately oriented to human spiritual growth.

He is a well-known and respected authority on ancient cultures and beliefs, and has written several books on related subjects. His interest in Mexican and Central American archaeology is life-long. As a geologist, he has consulted on archaeological digs in the western USA. He travelled extensively in Mayan Yucatan and was befriended by living Maya Indians, who revealed to him Maya ruins unknown to archaeology at that time. His interest in Maya culture, religion, and prophecy led him to write a book on Maya prophecy, construct an oracle based on the Maya system of divination, and write a second book on Maya mythology. His involvement in Eastern religion and philosophy has given him a unique perspective on the Maya.

Training and Education

Over the years he has attended the Colorado School of Mines, Colorado State University, and Pacific Western University for his academic training.

In aviation he trained at the University Flying School, Coronado Flying School, and the Emery School of Aviation. He holds flight ratings for commercial aircraft and helicopters, and flight instructor ratings for airplanes and instruments.

When in the US Army, he attended the U.S. Army Combat Leaders School where he was Top Graduate, and the U.S. Army NCO Academy, where he was Distinguished Graduate.

While serving in Vietnam he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Vietnamese Gallantry Cross with palm, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnamese Campaign Medal, and the National Defence Service Medal

Lilian Verner - Bonds is one of the leading healing and intuitive colour therapists in the world today. In her practice, ranging from individual readings to design consulting for large organisations, her emphasis is always on the use of colour to promote health and well being in both one’s personal life and environment as well as enhancing one’s image.

Ms Verner-Bonds has written ten books and produced an interactive tape and CD on colour healing, regularly gives workshops and lectures in the UK, Europe, Australia and the USA and appears frequently on radio and TV - over 200 appearances in four years. She is a member of the British House of Commons Committee on Alternative Medicine.

Lilian's psychic gift was discovered when she was four in a London bomb shelter during the war. The noise was so loud it was impossible to talk, but while holding a grown-up’s hand for comfort, she realised that she could find out all she needed to know about the stranger without asking. Later, she learned from press cuttings that she had inherited this gift from both sides of her family. Her mother’s grandmother had been a famous clairvoyant, said to have counselled the Royal Family, and she herself had seen her father, a dynamic Scotsman, using his gift of healing hands to clear conditions doctors had abandoned.
